Following on from the highly successful SHYC Seamanship Seminar series held during winter 2019/20, SHYC is pleased to present a two-part seminar on Passage Planning for Your Next Cruise. Register through the sign-up link above- materials will be distributed to registrants within the upcoming week.

This interactive seminar will cover what you should consider when planning your next cruise.  Topics include selecting a destination, choosing a route, timing your trip and watching the environmentals that may affect your voyage.  Registered participants will be asked to develop a basic passage plan prior to each session based on sample cruise information provided by the moderators.  During the session, we will further develop the plan based on your inputs as we review the steps of passage planning.  SHYC members will be given the first opportunity to register prior to opening this seminar to our reciprocal clubs and other local boaters.
